Work Injury Rehabilitation FAQs

Do you work with workers' compensation insurance?

Yes. We coordinate directly with workers' comp adjusters, case managers, and your employer. Authorization, treatment notes, and progress reports are part of our standard workflow for work injuries.

What is a Functional Capacity Evaluation?

An FCE is a standardized assessment of your physical capabilities — lifting, carrying, reaching, sustained postures — used to determine readiness for specific job demands. We provide objective data to your case manager and employer.

Can I return to modified duty before full recovery?

Often, yes. Returning to modified duty earlier and progressing toward full duty actually leads to better long-term outcomes than waiting for 100% recovery before returning to work. We coordinate the transition with your employer.

Does my employer have to approve PT?

For workers' comp claims, yes — the workers' comp insurer authorizes treatment. For private insurance, your standard benefits apply. We help you navigate either path.

What if my job involves heavy physical labor?

Heavy-labor jobs (construction, logistics, healthcare, manufacturing) need rehab that mimics actual job demands. We build job-specific conditioning into the second half of your program.

Will you communicate with my employer or case manager?

Yes — with your written authorization. We provide standardized progress reports, work restrictions, and FCE results as needed.
