Vestibular Rehabilitation for Frisco residents

Axis Physical Therapy sees Frisco residents at our two Plano offices. Patients come to us from Stonebriar, The Trails, Lone Star Ranch, Phillips Creek Ranch, Newman Village, and West Frisco — many referred by the orthopedic surgeons at Axis Orthopedic & Spine after surgery, and many who choose Axis directly for sports injuries, post-op rehab, or chronic pain care.

Frisco patients choose Axis PT for the one-on-one care model — your full session is with a doctor of physical therapy, not handed off to aides. The West Plano (Spring Creek) office is convenient for many Frisco residents who want to stay close to the Tollway corridor, and our scheduling team picks the office that best fits your schedule.

Vestibular Rehabilitation in Frisco — FAQs

Does Axis Physical Therapy have a Frisco office?

Not currently. Both Axis PT offices are in Plano. Frisco residents are seen at the Plano office that best matches their schedule and the soonest available appointment.

Which Plano office is best for Frisco patients?

Most Frisco patients prefer our West Plano office on Spring Creek Parkway. Our scheduling team can route you wherever the right opening is — same therapists, same care model at both locations.

Do you coordinate with my Frisco surgeon?

Yes. We coordinate directly with surgeons at Texas Health Frisco, the Axis Orthopedic Frisco clinic, and other Frisco-area surgical practices. Surgeon protocol adherence is the foundation of post-surgical PT.

Are you in-network with my insurance?

We're in-network with most major commercial plans common in Frisco (Aetna, Blue Cross, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, Humana) plus Medicare and Tricare. We verify benefits before your first visit.

What's BPPV and how do you treat it?

Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo is caused by displaced calcium crystals in the inner ear. The Epley maneuver — a specific sequence of head positions — repositions the crystals and resolves the vertigo, often in a single visit.

Why am I still dizzy months after my concussion?

Persistent dizziness after concussion usually has vestibular and/or cervical components that need targeted rehabilitation. Most post-concussion dizziness responds well to vestibular PT once the right diagnosis is made.

Can vestibular PT help motion sensitivity?

Yes. Habituation exercises systematically desensitize the system to motion provocations. Most patients see significant improvement within 4–6 weeks.

Do I need a doctor's referral first?

Texas allows direct access to PT, but vestibular conditions sometimes need ENT or neurology evaluation first to rule out other causes. We can help triage and refer if needed.
